So I went to get the cake so I could add Wonka’s hat and the word, “bar” and found a surprise. The moisture from the water used to stick “Wonka” was still there, giving the cake a weird look. Now, I have the hat and “bar” on the cake with a fan blowing. Fingers crossed!

Using a fan to attempt to dry up the excess water on the fondant. I may or may not have used WAY more than was needed.

Added the “Wonka” and the brown label to the cake. It’s actually looking much better!

• Finish the Wonka Bar cake, with the rest of the label.
• Create candy “toadstools”
• Finish lollipops.

The slideshow/montage is finally completed after weeks of selecting videos, recording new videos, and finding music and photos. Uploading to youtube and testing to ensure it will work.

Picked up this doughnut cake as a gift/treat from our nephew. They put A LOT of buttercream on it.

Covered a cake in fondant for the first time! This is the start of the Wonka Bar.

Using fondant for the first time and realizing how much talent my wife has with this stuff. Starts off hard to knead then turns into chewing gum and then tears. I went through a series of mixed emotions doing this.

We recorded the Star Wars battle for the slideshow. Epic things happened and I lost.
